As a freshman in college, Dr. Jen decided she wanted to become a chiropractor after a 6-week bout of severe insomnia was resolved upon beginning chiropractic care. She began to understand the importance of the nervous system and its control over every organ and function of the body. She went on to complete her chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic, the Fountainhead of chiropractic.
Upon graduating, Dr. Jen was nominated by her peers and selected by a faculty panel for the distinguished Virgil V. Strang Philosophy Award. This award goes to the student who most exemplified strong contributions to the philosophical principles of chiropractic.
During her time at Palmer, she also was a member of the prestigious Troxell Intern Program where she clocked over a thousand hours of training in the Gonstead System of Chiropractic. She served as the Head Intern for over a year.
Dr. Jen has also completed over 200 hours of advanced training with the Gonstead Methodology Institute, and continues to attend seminars and sit under the mentorship of seasoned and accomplished Gonstead chiropractors. Additionally, she is certified in the Webster technique for pregnant women and trained in cranial adjusting for children.
In her free time, Dr. Jen can be found spending time with her husband, Lane, and son, Ezra; scouting out the best local coffee shops, cooking or gardening.
